Our partner is looking for a Sr Software Engineer based in India. We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in ServiceNow to drive the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise service management solutions. In this role, you will contribute to critical IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, ensuring reliable, scalable, and highly available platform operations. Accountabilities: - Design, develop, enhance, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications and platform customizations to meet business and operational requirements. - Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow incidents, technical issues, and support tickets while ensuring platform reliability and performance. - Implement and maintain core ITSM processes, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, Request Management, and Configuration Management Database (CMDB). - Develop and configure business rules, client scripts, UI pages, UI actions, UI policies, access control rules (ACLs), notifications, and ServiceNow APIs. - Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using technologies and protocols such as SSO, SAML, SSL, web services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, and FTPS. - Use update sets to manage and migrate customizations across ServiceNow instances while maintaining consistency and quality. - Design and maintain highly available, resilient,



and recoverable ServiceNow environments. - Review business and technical requirements to ensure they are sufficiently detailed, explicit, and accurate for effort estimation and implementation. - Conduct peer reviews, mentor team members, share technical expertise, and continuously update ServiceNow development skills and platform knowledge. Requirements: - At least 10 years of total professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience. - Proven experience working within an IT Service Management (ITSM) organizational structure and implementing core ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request, and CMDB. - Strong ServiceNow development and customization skills, including business rules, client scripts, UI components, access controls, notifications, and platform APIs. - Practical knowledge of integration technologies and protocols, including REST, web services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, SSO, SAML, and SSL, as well as relevant file transfer protocols. - Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and AngularJS. - Good understanding of ITIL principles and service management best practices. - ServiceNow System Administrator certification and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification. - A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience. -
