Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Intern/Trainee to join our US Taxation Team in Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Hyderabad for a 4-month internship. This role offers a unique prospect to gain hands-on experience in US tax return preparation, working directly with our experienced tax professionals. The internship will provide exposure to the practical aspects of tax preparation, compliance, and client management in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Preparation Assistance:

- Assist in the preparation of individual and business tax returns (Forms 1040, 1120, 1065, etc.) under the supervision of senior tax professionals.
- Gather, organize, and analyze financial data for accurate tax reporting.
- Ensure all documents are accurate and comply with relevant tax laws and regulations.

Data Management:

- Maintain organized records of client information and workpapers.




- Assist in the preparation of client deliverables and reports.

Learning and Development:

- Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance understanding of US taxation.
- Work closely with senior accountants to learn best practices in tax preparation and review.

Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and tax concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
