Cashiers manage customer transactions, processing payments via cash, credit, or debit using POS systems. Key duties include scanning items, ensuring price accuracy, handling returns/exchanges, and providing customer service. They also maintain clean checkout areas, balance cash drawers, and verify age for restricted purchases.

Cashier Duties and Responsibilities

- Transaction Processing : Scanning items, processing payments (cash/cards), and issuing receipts using POS systems.
- Customer Service : Greeting customers,



answering questions, providing product information, and resolving complaints.
- Cash Handling : Balancing the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts, ensuring accuracy.
- Returns & Exchanges : Processing merchandise returns and exchanges efficiently.
- Maintenance : Keeping the checkout area, counters, and surrounding areas clean and organized.
- Merchandising : Assisting with restocking shelves and maintaining inventory displays near the register.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
