Job Summary

The F&B; Cashier is responsible for handling billing transactions, managing cash and digital payments, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience for customers in restaurants, cafés, hotels, or food outlets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Billing & Transactions

- Generate accurate bills using POS (Point of Sale) systems
- Accept payments via cash, credit/debit cards, UPI, and wallets
- Issue receipts and ensure correct billing

2. Cash Handling

- Maintain cash drawer and ensure proper cash balance
- Perform opening and closing cash counts
- Report discrepancies to management

3. Customer Service

- Greet customers and assist with billing queries
- Handle complaints related to billing politely
- Provide a smooth and quick checkout experience

4. Coordination

- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff for order accuracy
- Communicate special requests or billing corrections
- Assist front-of-house team when required

5. Record Keeping





- Maintain daily sales records and transaction logs
- Prepare shift reports and submit to management
- Keep track of discounts, refunds, and void transactions

6. Compliance & Hygiene

- Follow company policies for billing and payments
- Maintain cleanliness at the cashier counter
- Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards

Required Skills :

- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

- Minimum: 12th pass
- Experience: 1-2 years in cashiering/retail/F&B;

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
