Job Summary

The Restaurant Captain is responsible for supervising the restaurant service team, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining smooth dining operations. The role involves coordinating with waiters, greeting guests, handling special requests, and ensuring high service standards in the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service Management

- Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure customers receive prompt and high-quality service .
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues effectively.
- Assist guests with menu selection and special requests .

Team Supervision

- Supervise waiters, stewards, and service staff .
- Assign duties and manage staff during service hours.
- Train new staff on service standards and restaurant procedures .

Order & Service Coordination

- Ensure orders are taken accurately and delivered on time.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team for smooth food service.
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving.

Dining Area Management

- Ensure cleanliness and proper table setup in the dining area.




- Monitor table turnover and seating arrangements.
- Maintain restaurant ambience and service standards .

Billing & Customer Satisfaction

- Assist with billing and payment processes if required.
- Ensure customer satisfaction before guests leave the restaurant.
- Encourage positive guest experiences and repeat visits.

Educational Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality preferred
- Relevant training in Food & Beverage Service

Experience

- 2-5 years experience in restaurant or hotel service
- Experience as Senior Steward / Waiter preferred

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
