Job Summary

The Bar Captain is responsible for supervising daily bar operations, ensuring excellent guest service, maintaining beverage quality standards, and coordinating with bartenders and service staff for smooth operations. The role includes handling guest requirements, monitoring stock, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards within the bar area.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate daily bar operations efficiently.
- Ensure high-quality beverage preparation and service standards.
- Guide and support bartenders and bar staff during operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the bar area.
- Monitor bar inventory, stock levels, and report shortages.
- Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
- Ensure proper billing and cash handling procedures are followed.
- Coordinate with kitchen and restaurant teams for smooth service.
- Train new staff on bar service standards and operational procedures.




- Ensure compliance with company policies and hospitality standards.

Skills & Requirements

- Previous experience in bar operations or hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team handling skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar equipment.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Well-groomed appearance and professional attitude.

Qualification

- Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bar operations or related field.
