Job profile

1. Freight Rate Procurement

- Obtain freight rates from Mumbai team and overseas partners .

- Negotiate the best possible rates and space availability . 2. Quotation Preparation

- Prepare import/export freight quotations for customers and the sales team.

- Include:

- Ocean freight / Air freight (Import /Export both )

- Local charges

- Documentation charges

- Transportation charges

- Ensure quotations are accurate and competitive .

3. Coordination with Sales Team

- Work closely with the sales department to support current business opportunities.
- Provide quick pricing for tenders and spot enquiries .
- Suggest cost-effective routing options .

4. Rate Database Management

- Maintain updated freight rate database/ Quote log for different trade lanes.
- Monitor market rate fluctuations .

5. Vendor Communication

- Communicate regularly with:

- Mumbai pricing desk for air & sea both

- Overseas agents

- Transport vendors

- Collect special contract rates and promotional rates .

Skills Required :

- Good knowledge of INCOTERMS
- Strong negotiation skills




- Good Excel and costing skills
- Ability to work fast on urgent enquiries In simple words : A Pricing Executive is responsible for getting the best freight rates from carriers and preparing competitive quotations to help the company win shipments**.

The Pricing Executive in a freight forwarding company is responsible for preparing competitive freight rates and supporting the sales team to win business . The role mainly focuses on rate management, negotiations, and quotation preparation . ️

Experience : 2 to 3 years in freight industries

Pay: ₹9,802.66 - ₹37,754.38 per month
