Role Overview

The Buying Support role is a critical operational position within the buying and merchandising team. The post-holder is responsible for managing end-to-end purchase order processes, stock receipt administration, barcode and price maintenance, and cross-functional communication for a portfolio of more than 30 international footwear and lifestyle brands. The role also provides direct operational support to a colleague from an external partner consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Stock Pricing & Reporting

- Prepare and distribute a daily incoming stock price details report to the Pricing Team, including all relevant supporting information.
- Prepare and circulate a daily incoming stock report to the wider team.

- Purchase Order & Delivery Management

- Create pre-acceptance sheets for all incoming deliveries prior to receipt.
- Raise and manage purchase orders (POs) in Cybertill (CT) across a portfolio of 30+ shoe brands.
- Track and update all incoming deliveries in the stock management sheet, capturing delivery dates and all associated details.
- Monitor delivery progress daily using the Order Draft tracker.
- Accept delivered orders in the system, updating the Order Draft with the confirmed received date.
- Issue delivery notes to the Logistics Manager (Tadas) upon confirmed receipt of each order.

- Cost & Intake Management

- Calculate the total landed cost of incoming orders for owned brands.




- Update both the Weekly Intake sheet and the buying calendar with cost and delivery information.

- ASN Creation & Abstract Administration

- Create Advanced Shipment Notifications (ASNs) for incoming orders in Abstract and Mint Soft.

- New Style & Barcode Maintenance

- Create new styles in Cybertill for all owned brands when recent product is introduced to the range.
- Update manufacturers' barcodes in CT using the 'correct' template, or manually where required.
- Add new sizes and process style code changes in CT as required.

- Team Support

- Provide day-to-day operational support

Person Specification

Essential

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to manage a high volume of concurrent tasks across multiple brands and systems
- Good numerical skills for cost calculation and intake management
- Experience working with stock management or retail ERP/POS systems
- Organized, methodical and able to work to daily deadlines

Desirable

- Prior experience in a buying, merchandising or retail operations environment
- Familiarity with Cybertill, Abstract, or Mint Soft platforms
- Experience handling purchase orders and supplier deliveries for footwear or fashion brands
- Ability to pick up new systems quickly and support colleagues

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
