Role Summary

Design, deploy, and operate production workloads on Google Cloud Platform. Own architecture decisions, security, performance, reliability, and cost optimization across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement GCP solutions using Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, VPC, IAM, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Storage

Design secure network architectures (VPC design, hybrid connectivity, VPN/Interconnect, firewalling).

Implement IAM, org policies, security controls, logging, and monitoring.

Lead cloud migrations from on-prem or other clouds to GCP.

Automate infrastructure using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.

Optimize cost, performance, availability, and DR.

Troubleshoot L2/L3 production incidents and conduct root-cause analysis.





Maintain architecture documentation and operational runbooks.

Required Skills : 2+ years in cloud engineering/architecture with hands-on GCP production experience.

Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, routing).

Kubernetes (GKE), containers, and microservices.

Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

Observability (Cloud Monitoring/Logging), security best practices.

Certification (mandatory)
