Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven leader to join our team as the Senior Manager of Financial Analytics and Operations. This role is ideal for a finance skilled with expertise in leveraging data, Excel-based modeling, and advanced analytics to drive strategic initiatives. The candidate will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external analytics firms to deliver comprehensive reporting, actionable insights, and dynamic dashboards that support executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Leadership:

- Develop and implement advanced financial models, forecasts, and analyses to support leadership in making strategic decisions.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external analytics firms to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Drive initiatives to improve financial performance, cost optimization, and resource allocation.

2. Data-Driven Analytics and Reporting:

- Collaborate with external analytics firms to design and deliver robust dashboards, automated reporting, and data visualization tools.
- Generate insights into key financial metrics, trends, and performance indicators to support long-term planning.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to improve financial outcomes.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Act as a liaison between internal departments and external analytics partners to ensure seamless integration of financial data and reporting tools.
- Oversee the creation of unified data models and dashboards that cater to diverse stakeholder needs.




- Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance collaboration and ensure alignment across teams.

4. Advanced Excel and Modeling Expertise:

- Design and maintain complex financial models for forecasting, scenario analysis, and decision-making.
- Leverage Excel, VBA, macros, and pivot tables to develop customized financial solutions.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and create actionable insights for leadership.

5. Operational Excellence:

- Optimize workflows within finance and operations to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Implement automation tools to streamline manual tasks and ensure data accuracy.
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for financial processes.

6. Team Leadership and Development:

- Mentor and guide a team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Provide training to enhance team skills in analytics, reporting, and collaboration with external partners.
- Set performance metrics to drive team alignment with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or CPA designation preferred).




- Over a decade of experience in financial analytics, reporting, and operational leadership.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA, macros, and financial modeling.
- Expertise in BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite).
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with external analytics firms and internal stakeholders.
- Strong skills in financial reporting standards, variance analysis, and performance forecasting.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience managing relationships with external analytics partners to deliver impactful results.
- Familiarity with automation tools, ETL processes, and cloud-based reporting platforms.
- Exceptional communication skills to present complex financial data in a clear and actionable manner.
