Finance Controller - A Product-based Tech Startup, Bengaluru

Job Summary:

A leading product-based technology Startup is keen to hire a Chartered Accountant with 0-2 years of post qualification experience to support financial reporting, monthly and annual book closure audits, internal controls, and enterprise risk management. The role offers exposure to financial consolidation, governance, and finance transformation initiatives while working closely with senior leadership and auditors.

Location: Bellandur, Bengaluru

Role & responsibilities

- Assist in monthly and annual financial closing and preparation of consolidated financial statements as per Ind AS
- Review of general ledger, books of accounts and cost analysis for optimisation
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve open items
- Assist in Preparing MIS and reports for audit committee, Board & investors
- Coordinate with Statutory & internal auditors for timely closure of audits
- Periodic testing & documentation of internal controls, improvement initiatives and coordinating corrective actions
- Tracking & updating of the enterprise risk register across business functions
- Monitor risk mitigation plans, timelines,



ownership & preparation of risk reports
- Participate in finance transformation and scale-up initiatives

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and taxation basics
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Understanding of SOX-like controls, IFC, or process documentation
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of work
- Work in a cross functional collaboration team

Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant

Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience
