Role & responsibilities

- Support the Plant HSE Lead in ensuring compliance with HSE policies, systems, processes, and legal requirements
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs
- Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and track corrective actions
- Serve as a Shift Safety Engineer, monitoring operational controls and compliance with permits, LOTO, material handling, lifting equipment etc.
- Identify and address unsafe conditions and acts, ensuring timely closure of observations
- Assist Plant HSE Lead in the investigation process for safety incidents and accidents
- Proficient in ISO 14K & 45K management systems, including documentation and auditing
- Expertise in HSE legal compliance and hygiene monitoring
- Skilled in HSEE planning, auditing, and reporting
- Plant-level experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in engineering

Preferred candidate profile

- Qualifications: Any diploma/engineering graduate with specialization in Mechanical / Production / Electrical; Advance diploma in Industrial safety from a government approved institute (mandatory)
- Work Experience: HSE qualified with 7- 10 years of experience
