Key Responsibilities

Sustainability Strategy

- Develop and execute the organization's sustainability roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Drive ESG initiatives across manufacturing plants, corporate offices, and supply chain.
- Establish sustainability KPIs and monitor progress against annual targets.

Environmental Management

- Lead initiatives for:
- Carbon footprint reduction
- Water conservation
- Energy efficiency
- Renewable energy adoption
- Waste reduction and zero-waste initiatives
- Plastic reduction and circular economy programs

- Monitor environmental performance across manufacturing facilities.

ESG & Reporting

- Prepare annual ESG/Sustainability reports.
- Support BRSR (Business Responsibility & Sustainability Reporting) compliance.
- Collect, validate, and analyze sustainability data.
- Track ESG KPIs and prepare dashboards for senior leadership.

Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with:
- Environmental laws
- Pollution Control Board norms
- Waste Management Rules
- EPR requirements
- Sustainability reporting regulations

- Coordinate environmental audits and statutory inspections.

Carbon & Climate Initiatives

- Develop carbon reduction roadmaps.
- Support Net Zero and Science-Based Target initiatives where applicable.

Resource Optimization





- Identify projects for reducing:
- Electricity consumption
- Fuel consumption
- Water usage
- Packaging material

- Evaluate ROI for sustainability investments.

Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with:
- Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, EHS

- Liaise with government authorities, consultants, certification bodies, and external auditors.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Reduction in carbon emissions
- Energy consumption per unit produced
- Water consumption reduction
- Waste recycling percentage
- Plastic reduction targets achieved
- ESG score improvement
- Environmental audit compliance
- Renewable energy utilization

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability or related field.
- Master's degree/MBA in Sustainability or Environmental Management preferred.

Experience

- 815 years of experience in Sustainability, ESG, EHS, Environmental Management, or Corporate Sustainability.
- Experience in FMCG, Beverage, Food Processing, Manufacturing, Pharma, Consumer Goods, or Chemicals preferred.
