Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused, and results-driven Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our store. The Store Manager will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing store staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring excellent customer service, and implementing company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales and Business Performance

Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, average transaction value, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

Implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.

Analyze sales reports and take corrective actions to improve performance.

Ensure effective execution of promotions, offers, and product launches.

2. Store Operations

Manage daily store opening and closing procedures.

Ensure the store is clean, organized, and maintained according to company standards.

Ensure proper product display, visual merchandising, and stock replenishment.

Monitor billing, cash handling, and point-of-sale (POS) operations.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

3. Team Management

Recruit, train, coach, and motivate store employees.

Prepare staff schedules and allocate duties effectively.

Monitor employee productivity, attendance, punctuality, and performance.

Conduct regular team briefings and performance reviews.

Maintain discipline and foster a positive, cooperative work environment.

4. Inventory and Stock Management

Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.

Conduct regular stock counts and physical inventory audits.

Minimize stock discrepancies, damage,



expiry, and shrinkage.

Ensure proper receiving, storage, and handling of merchandise.

Coordinate with warehouse, supply chain, and merchandising teams.

5. Customer Service

Ensure excellent customer service and customer satisfaction.

Handle customer complaints, escalations, returns, and exchanges professionally.

Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business.

Ensure staff follow customer service standards.

Identify opportunities to improve the overall shopping experience.

6. Financial and Administrative Management

Monitor store expenses and support profitability improvement.

Ensure accurate cash reconciliation and timely deposits, where applicable.

Review daily sales reports and submit operational reports on time.

Maintain accurate store records and documentation.

Support internal audits and ensure compliance with financial controls.

7. Compliance and Loss Prevention

Ensure adherence to company policies and applicable laws and regulations.

Implement measures to prevent theft, fraud, and inventory losses.

Maintain workplace health, safety, and security standards.

Ensure proper handling of customer information and company assets.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.

35 years of experience in retail operations, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or store management role.

Experience in sales, inventory management, customer service, and team leadership.

Proficiency in POS systems, MS Excel, and store reporting tools.

Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
