Product Security

Product Security is responsible for protecting customer designs, confidential information, proprietary processes, and products throughout the product lifecycle. The function ensures compliance with customer-specific and Pou Chen Group (PCG) security requirements by implementing effective physical and digital security controls, conducting regular security audits and risk assessments, monitoring compliance, providing employee awareness training, and investigating security incidents. Its primary objective is to prevent unauthorized access, information leakage, product loss, and security breaches while maintaining customer trust and confidentiality.

Key Roles and Responsibilities Physical Security

1. Physical Security Management: Implement and monitor physical security procedures to protect factory premises, products, materials, samples, and confidential customer information.

2. Access Control: Manage and monitor access to restricted areas, including the sample room, QM laboratory, label room, finished goods warehouse, and RMCC.

3. Security System Monitoring: Ensure the effective operation of CCTV cameras, electronic doors, access-control systems, and visitor management systems.

4. Product and Shipment Security: Ensure product security throughout manufacturing, storage, handling, and shipment processes to prevent unauthorized access, theft, loss,



or damage.

5. Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and support customer, Nike, Pou Chen Group (PCG), and internal physical security audits, ensuring compliance with applicable security standards.

6. Security Inspections: Conduct regular and random security inspections, identify security gaps, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

7. Incident Investigation: Investigate physical security incidents, document findings, coordinate corrective actions, and report significant issues to management.

8. Team Management: Supervise security personnel, allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with established security procedures.

9. Training and Awareness: Conduct physical security awareness training for employees, contractors, and relevant personnel.

10. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain security records, audit reports, incident reports, and corrective-action trackers. Prepare monthly security performance reports.

11. Policy Implementation: Implement company and customer security requirements and communicate relevant updates to concerned departments.

12. Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor security KPIs, track audit findings, and ensure timely completion of corrective actions.Role & responsibilities
