Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and energetic Production Head to lead and manage our plastic injection moulding manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, optimizing machine utilization, improving productivity, controlling rejection rates, and ensuring consistent product quality and on-time delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end production operations for plastic injection moulding.
- Plan and execute production schedules as per customer requirements and dispatch commitments.
- Handle injection moulding machines, moulds, material planning, and shop-floor activities.
- Optimize machine cycle time, output, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Control rejection, scrap, rework, and material wastage.
- Ensure proper setting of injection moulding process parameters, including temperature, pressure, holding time, and cooling time.
- Monitor mould changeovers, machine breakdowns, and preventive maintenance coordination.
- Ensure optimum utilization of machines, manpower, raw materials, and other resources.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Purchase, Stores,



and Dispatch departments.
- Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain production MIS, daily reports, downtime records, and productivity data.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and customer-specific requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

- 10-15 years of experience in plastic injection moulding, with proven production leadership experience.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of injection moulding machines, moulds, and processing parameters.
- Experience in handling production planning, manpower, and machine utilization.
- Proven track record in reducing rejection, optimizing cycle time, and improving productivity.
- Knowledge of engineering plastics, moulding defects, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in implementing 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of production MIS, ERP systems, and quality standards.
