SAP VMS Consultant SAP SD

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP VMS Consultant with 8+ years of SAP SD experience and relevant hands-on SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS) implementation experience. The candidate will be responsible for configuring SAP VMS, integrating it with core SAP modules, managing vehicle lifecycle processes, and supporting Variant Configuration and S/4HANA Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC).

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP VMS Configuration

- Configure SAP VMS vehicle models, action matrices, vehicle statuses, and master data.
- Manage vehicle lifecycle processes and related system configurations.
- Support vehicle-specific business processes and operational requirements.

2. Cross-Module Integration

- Integrate SAP VMS with SAP SD, MM, and FI/CO.
- Support end-to-end business processes across sales, procurement, inventory, and finance.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure seamless data flow between SAP modules.

3. Variant Configuration

- Design and maintain Variant Configuration models, characteristics, classes, and dependencies.
- Work on SAP S/4HANA Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC).
- Support complex vehicle configurations and configurable product scenarios.

Order Management and Fleet Operations

- Manage vehicle procurement, inventory ranges, and Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) management.
- Support complex fleet sales, vehicle order processing, and related business operations.
- Ensure accurate vehicle master data and end-to-end transaction processing.

5. Functional Specifications and Testing

- Prepare Functional Specification Documents (FSDs) for RICEFW/WRICEF objects, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.
- Coordinate with technical teams for custom development and enhancements.
- Support unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, and deployment activities.

Required Skills

- 8+ years of SAP SD experience.
- Robust hands-on experience in SAP Vehicle Management System (VMS).
- Relevant SAP VMS implementation experience is mandatory.
- Expertise in SAP VMS configuration, vehicle models, action matrices, and VIN management.
- Experience integrating SAP VMS with SAP SD, MM, and FI/CO.
- Knowledge of Variant Configuration and SAP S/4HANA Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC).
- Experience in vehicle procurement, inventory management, and fleet sales.
- Ability to prepare FSDs for RICEFW/WRICEF developments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
