Job Title: Senior Engineer, Solar Cell Maintenance Integrated PV Manufacturing

Location: Nellore, Andhra Pradesh(AP)

About the client: One of the leading Indian Conglomerate (Manufacturing B2B) headquartered in Hyderabad.

Job Purpose:

The Senior Engineer for Cell Maintenance is responsible for providing technical leadership and support for the maintenance and optimization of production cell equipment. This role requires a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment troubleshooting and predictive/preventative maintenance strategies. The Senior Engineer will work closely with production teams, maintenance technicians and engineering departments to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

*Technical Leadership:

* Lead root cause analysis investigations for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
* Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

* Participate in equipment design reviews and provide input on maintainability and serviceability.

* Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance technicians on complex equipment issues.

* Equipment Troubleshooting & Repair:

* Diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

* Perform equipment repairs and modifications as needed.
* Oversee the procurement, installation and commissioning of new equipment.

* Process Optimization:

* Analyze production data to identify areas for equipment improvement.
* Implement improvements to increase equipment efficiency and reduce operating costs.
* Develop and implement new maintenance techniques and technologies.

* Safety & Compliance:

* Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and in compliance with all relevant safety regulations.
* Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions.




* Train maintenance technicians on safety procedures and equipment operation.

* Teamwork & Communication:

* Collaborate effectively with production, engineering and maintenance teams.
* Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
* Mentor and train junior maintenance engineers and technicians

Technological Requirements:

- Strong knowledge and experience in Solar cell process tools & its troubleshooting methods
- PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis), DFMEA (Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis), DOE (Design of Experiments), Fish-Bone Analysis, SPC (Statistical Process Control), problem solving methodology
- Familiar with Industry 4.0 concepts
- Strong technical analysis competency with the use of analytical tools like JMP, Mini-Tab for troubleshooting and datamining.

- Knowledge and experience in process and data analytics automation

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience: 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong focus on equipment

Other Requirements • Must be willing to work in a cleanroom environment.
