Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with 15+ years of IT experience who combines robust hands-on Java expertise with effective people and project management skills. The ideal candidate will spend approximately 60% of their time on technical activities and 40% on team leadership and project management.
The candidate should have extensive experience in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and enterprise application development, along with the ability to lead teams, manage delivery commitments, and collaborate with business and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Technical Leadership (60%)
- Lead hands-on development and technical implementation using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Design and review scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide guidance to development teams.
- Work with REST APIs, SQL databases, messaging technologies, and cloud platforms.
- Drive technical design discussions, proof of concepts, performance optimization, and application modernization.
- Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to ensure quality releases and reliable deployments.
- People and Project Management (40%)
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers to achieve project objectives.
- Plan and manage sprints, task assignments, estimations, timelines, and deliverables.




- Track project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and proactively resolve blockers.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, clients, architects, QA, and other cross-functional teams.
- Conduct team meetings, provide feedback, and support technical skill development.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, project status reporting, and delivery commitments.
- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and drive continuous process improvement.

Required Skills:

- 15+ years of overall IT experience in software development and technical leadership.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and distributed applications.
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
- Experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate/JPA or MyBatis.
- Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging technologies.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Proven experience in people management, Agile project delivery, and stakeholder communication.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience as a Technical Lead, Technical Architect, Engineering Manager, or Technical Project Manager.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale applications in an Agile environment.
- Ability to balance hands-on coding and technical decision-making with project and team management responsibilities.
