Job Purpose:

Responsible for optimizing and maintaining solar cell manufacturing processes to improve cell efficiency, production yield, throughput, product quality, and cost-effectiveness. The role involves process troubleshooting, equipment management, data analysis, continuous improvement, and coordination with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D; teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and optimize solar cell manufacturing processes, including Texturing, Diffusion, BSG Polishing, PE-Poly, PECVD, and Metallization.
- Monitor process parameters and key performance indicators, including cell efficiency, yield, throughput, and equipment uptime.
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct process trials and optimization studies to improve productivity, reduce defects, and minimize manufacturing costs.
- Apply SPC, DOE, RCA, Lean, and Six Sigma tools for process improvement and yield enhancement.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, safety requirements, and cleanroom protocols.
- Analyze process data, maintain technical documentation,



and prepare performance and improvement reports.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement recent technologies and improve manufacturing performance.
- Train and mentor engineers, technicians, and shift-based DETs to ensure smooth production operations.

Required Skills and Experience:

- 46+ years of relevant experience in solar cell manufacturing, process engineering, or a related advanced manufacturing industry.
- Hands-on knowledge of solar cell processes and equipment, particularly PECVD, PE-Poly, and laser processing systems.
- Strong understanding of process optimization, yield improvement, and cell efficiency enhancement.
- Working knowledge of SPC, DOE, RCA, and data analysis tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and team coordination skills.
- Experience in shift management, team handling, or technical training is preferred.
