Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Salary: As per experience and suitability

Job Responsibilities

1. Proficiency in 2D drafting and 3D modelling.
2. Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings.
3. Knowledge of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) parameters.
4. Proficiency in SolidWorks software is mandatory.
5. Determine the appropriate dimensions, specifications, and materials for products.
6. Perform engineering calculations and analyse product strength and load-bearing capacity.
7. Prepare and submit daily progress reports to the Head of Department (HOD).
8. Develop and modify designs as per technical requirements and product specifications.
9. Ensure the accuracy and feasibility of designs for manufacturing and practical applications.





Required Knowledge and Skills

1. Solid working knowledge of SolidWorks and related design software.
2. Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA), including stress analysis and load-bearing capacity.
3. Understanding of different engineering materials and their properties.
4. Preferably experienced in designing material handling equipment and components such as:

- Sprockets
- Shafts
- Pans
- Buckets
- Gears

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical drawing interpretation skills.

Preferred Candidate: A mechanical design professional with relevant experience in designing mechanical components and material handling equipment.
