Job Summary

You will work with partner bank branches and customers in your area. Your job is to understand each customer's financial goals, such as protecting the family, saving for children's education, or planning for retirement, and recommend the right HDFC Life plan.

Key responsibilities

- Meet customers: work with bank branch staff to meet their customers and generate insurance leads
- Advise on plans: understand each customer's needs and explain suitable HDFC Life plans clearly and honestly
- Close sales: help customers with proposal forms, documents and medical checks (where needed) until the policy is issued
- Work with partners: build strong working relationships with bank managers and staff
- Meet targets: achieve monthly targets for policies sold and premium collected
- Look after customers: help existing customers with renewals and service requests
- Follow the rules: sell ethically, following IRDAI regulations and company guidelines at all times; no mis-selling

What we're looking for

- Graduate in any discipline
- Age below 27 years
- Good communication in Kannada, plus Hindi and/or English
- Confident, presentable and comfortable meeting customers
- Interested in sales and finance, and motivated by targets




- Willing to travel within Kalaburagi district
- Basic computer and smartphone skills
- Freshers can apply

Licence and training

Selected candidates may need to transparent the IRDAI certification exam to sell insurance. HDFC Life usually provides the training and support for this.
