• Design inputs for RFQ cost estimation & feasibility studies
• Product design, FEA, DFM & Value Engineering proposals
• Complete manufacturable die design; interpret Magma simulation and resolve anticipated defects
• Coordinate with suppliers on die manufacturing, dimension checks & tooling corrections
• Update die designs for ECNs and quality/productivity/cost improvement projects
• Reduce die breakdowns, cost, design lead time & post-release design changes
• Defect analysis & systematic problem solving with the process team
• FMEA
