Role & responsibilities .

- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspection of CNC and VMC machined components.
- Inspect components as per engineering drawings, GD&T;, customer specifications, and control plans.
- Check critical dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, VMM, Profile Projector, Thread Gauges, Plug/Ring Gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Monitor quality during the CNC/VMC manufacturing process and identify deviations at an early stage.
- Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and rejection/rework records.
- Identify quality issues and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with the Production team to control rejection, rework, and process-related quality issues.
- Ensure that finished components meet drawing and customer quality requirements before dispatch.
- Support 5S, Kaizen, quality improvement, and continuous improvement activities.
- Handle NCR and customer-related quality issues.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.




- 1-6 years of experience in Quality Inspection in a CNC/VMC machining or precision engineering industry.
- Hands-on experience in operating precision measuring instruments such as DVC, PP (Profile Projector), VMM, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, Micrometer, Vernier Caliper, Plug Gauges, Ring Gauges, and Thread Gauges.
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, dimensional inspection, and machining tolerances.
- Practical experience in first-piece, in-process, and final inspection of machined components.
- Knowledge of rejection analysis, NCR handling, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Ability to maintain inspection reports and quality documentation.
- Should be comfortable working on the shop floor and coordinating with the Production team.
- Candidates with experience in automotive, hydraulic components, or precision machining industries will be preferred.
