JOB DESCRIPTION CENTRALIZED PLANNER

Function: Supply Chain / Planning Position: Centralized Planner Demand Planning, S&OP;/SIOP, MPC/MPS & PPC Reports To: CEO

Location –Noida Phase 2

Key Responsibilities

Demand Planning

- Own and consolidate the yearly demand forecast across products/business units.
- Drive statistical forecasting, business inputs, demand reviews and consensus forecasting.
- Monitor forecast accuracy, bias and demand changes; highlight risks and opportunities.

S&OP; / SIOP

- Own and coordinate the monthly S&OP;/SIOP cycle from Demand Review through Executive Review.
- Integrate Demand, Supply, Capacity, Inventory and Financial plans.
- Identify demand-supply gaps, constraints and risks and develop alternative scenarios.
- Drive cross-functional alignment and ensure agreed decisions are converted into actionable plans.

MPC / MPS & Supply Planning

- Translate the agreed demand plan into a feasible Master Production Plan/Schedule.
- Balance demand with capacity, material availability, lead times, batch sizes, changeovers and inventory targets.
- Identify bottlenecks and coordinate mitigation/recovery plans.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Materials teams to ensure supply availability.

PPC & Execution





- Align centralized plans with plant/site PPC teams and daily production schedules.
- Monitor production plan adherence, shortages, delays and capacity constraints.
- Drive corrective actions and recovery plans for deviations from the agreed plan.
- Establish standardized planning and PPC processes across locations.

Capacity & Inventory Planning

- Conduct medium- and long-term capacity planning and identify bottlenecks.
- Optimize inventory levels while maintaining required customer service.

- Monitor excess/obsolete, slow-moving and shortage inventory and initiate corrective actions.

Cross-Functional Leadership

- Act as the central planning interface between Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics and Finance.
- Establish a single, aligned planning view across functions.
- Drive planning governance, performance reviews, escalation and continuous improvement.

Qualification & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration or related discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain Planning / Demand Planning / Production Planning / S&OP.;
- Solid manufacturing experience with hands-on exposure to Demand Planning, S&OP;/SIOP, MPC/MPS and PPC.
- Experience in multi-plant or centralized planning environments preferred.

Skills

- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving capabilities.
- Advanced Excel and ERP/MRP expertise; SAP/Oracle/Dynamics or equivalent.
- Knowledge of advanced planning tools such as SAP IBP/APO, Kinaxis, o9 or Anaplan is an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to translate business demand into a single integrated and executable supply plan.
