Experience: 4-10 Years

Qualification: Graduation in Textile / Fashion / Apparel

Location: Arekere, Bengaluru

Must have experience in Knitwear Merchandising.

Roles and responsibilities

- Ability to generate a cost sheet by obtaining fabric/trims costs
- Ensures all materials/approvals are in place before the PCD
- Ensures and checks that the correct quality is maintained at the sampling and bulk stages. Also, the quality of fabric/trims needs to be monitored
- Effectively follows up on the target with the concerned department & maintains cordial relationships with all the other departments in the organization
- Maintains cordial relationship & effectively communicates with the buying agent/buyer
- Clarifies all details with buyers regarding their requirements.




- To efficiently make patterns with the help of the pattern maker.
- To efficiently arrange for similar required fabric as per the order
- To efficiently arrange for trims and accessories in accordance to the orders by placing orders for material, accessories, fabric, thread etc
- Give costing details to buyers such as consumption, fabric costs, trim costs, and washing costs.
- Prepare costing and estimate profits from each order.
- Maintain cordial relations with all departments
- To strategise cutting-edge ideas to simplify processes and make it more efficient
- To generate required MIS reports and provide the same to the concerned departments to ensure erp entries are done on time.
