Lead Legal Counsel (OMS)

Contract Management & Negotiation

- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including:
- Operation & Maintenance (O&M;) Agreements
- Vendor and Service Agreements
- Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
- Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs)
- Term Sheets

- Ensure contracts align with business objectives, associated contractual obligations, risk mitigation strategies, and legal compliance requirements.
- Maintain and update contract templates, standard clauses, and playbooks in line with evolving business and legal requirements.

Legal Advisory & Risk Mitigation

- Provide strategic legal advice and support to internal stakeholders on operational, commercial, and day-to-day business matters.
- Advise on regulatory and statutory compliance requirements relevant to contracts and business operations.
- Identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions to mitigate exposure.

Dispute Resolution & Litigation Support

- Manage pre-litigation strategies and coordinate with external legal counsel on ongoing and anticipated disputes.




- Draft and review legal notices, responses, pleadings, and other court-related documentation.
- Lead negotiations with internal and external stakeholders to resolve disputes and minimize litigation risks.
- Monitor litigation matters and ensure timely actions, filings, and follow-ups.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in the Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, Engineering, Manufacturing, or O&M; sector will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to commercial contract management and operational legal support in a corporate workplace is preferred.
