Role & responsibilities
Manage day-to-day tool room activities and ensure timely availability of tools for production.
- Maintain and service dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, cutting tools, and special tools.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of production tools and dies.
- Troubleshoot tool-related problems and implement corrective actions.
- Support current tool, die, jig, and fixture development activities.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams for tool-related issues.
- Carry out tool modification, correction, reconditioning, and improvement activities.
Preferred candidate profile
Good knowledge of press tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and cutting tools.
- Experience in tool maintenance and tool modification.
- Candidates from Stamping/Press shop industries preferred
