About the Role

We are looking for an active and reliable Branch Manager to run our gold loan branch in Pune. In this role, you will lead the branch team, drive branch-level sales, ensure accurate gold testing, and manage daily branch operations smoothly.

Main Responsibilities -

1. Branch Sales & Business Growth

- Meet monthly target numbers for gold loan disbursals directly from the branch.
- Manage customer walk-ins and drive loan sign-ups within the branch.
- Guide customers through loan options, interest rates, and quick approvals.

2. Branch Operations & Gold Safety

- Oversee accurate checking of gold purity, weight, and valuation at the branch counter.
- Store and handle gold securely in branch vaults following safety protocols.
- Process loan disbursals, interest collections, loan renewals, and gold releases smoothly.

3. Team Leadership

- Guide and support branch staff, executives, and gold appraisers.




- Set transparent daily work targets and track overall branch performance.
- Train branch staff on app usage, gold testing standards, and customer service.

4. Compliance & Process Safety

- Follow all company process rules, RBI guidelines, and KYC norms inside the branch.
- Conduct regular physical gold stock checks and audits.
- Ensure accurate documentation and safe record-keeping for all branch accounts.

Requirements -

- Education: Graduate in any stream.

- Experience: 3 to 6 years in gold loan or retail banking operations, with at least 1–2 years handling a branch team.

- Knowledge: Sound practical knowledge of gold testing, karat verification, and valuation.

- Languages: Fluency in Marathi and Hindi to handle branch customers smoothly in Pune (basic English knowledge required).
