Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and target-oriented Placement Officer to manage corporate outreach, employer relationships, recruitment drive coordination, student placement activities, alumni engagement, CRM, MIS and documentation. The candidate will be responsible for generating corporate leads, developing placement and internship opportunities, coordinating recruitment processes and contributing to overall placement objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Outreach & Lead Generation

- Research prospective companies and HR/TA contacts.
- Conduct targeted corporate outreach.
- Generate corporate meetings and qualified leads.

Corporate Relationship & Opportunity Development

- Maintain relationships with assigned recruiters.
- Understand employer hiring requirements.
- Pursue full time employment (FTE), internship, PPO and trainee opportunities.
- Ensure timely follow-ups with corporate partners.

Recruitment Drive Coordination & Execution

- Coordinate assigned recruitment drives from JD receipt to student nominations, scheduling, assessments, interviews and result/offer communication.
- Ensure recruitment activities are completed within defined timelines.
- Maintain accurate registration data and drive documentation.
- Address recruiter requirements promptly.

Student Placement Coordination

- Manage student registrations and eligibility verification.
- Coordinate student communication and participation.
- Address recruitment-related queries.
- Ensure timely communication of placement opportunities and recruitment schedules.

Alumni, Industry & Corporate Engagement

- Engage alumni and industry professionals for guest sessions, pre-placement talks,



corporate events, conclaves, industry visits and networking initiatives.
- Support industry engagement activities and corporate relationship development.

CRM, MIS & Documentation

- Maintain complete and accurate records of corporate interactions, leads, JDs, drives, student participation and outcomes in the placement CRM.
- Update CRM records regularly.
- Prepare and submit MIS reports within defined timelines.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation.

Process Compliance & Professional Development

- Adhere to placement processes and SOPs.
- Participate in relevant training, certifications, industry exposure and knowledge-sharing activities.

Ownership & Target Achievement

- Take ownership of the assigned corporate portfolio, follow-ups and closures.
- Contribute to overall team placement objectives.
- Ensure timely reporting and completion of assigned activities within defined timelines.
