AI Architect – Associate

We are currently hiring for an experienced AI Architect – Associate with 8–12 years of professional experience in designing, developing, and implementing AI-driven solutions, intelligent agents, and scalable software architectures for one of our clients in Pune.

The role focuses on designing AI-powered architectures, developing and integrating AI agents, building intelligent applications using Python, and enabling seamless AI integration with enterprise systems through full-stack development. The position also involves evaluating emerging AI technologies, designing scalable and secure solutions, and integrating AI capabilities with existing enterprise platforms. Experience with PLM technologies such as Teamcenter, BMIDE, and ITK, along with cloud platforms such as AWS, will be an added advantage.

This role is suited to a hands-on AI Architect who combines strong AI/ML expertise with architectural design capabilities and practical software development experience. The ideal candidate should be comfortable translating business requirements into technical architectures, taking AI proof-of-concepts through to production, integrating AI agents into enterprise applications, and taking solid ownership of technical delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures for AI-powered applications and enterprise solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement AI agents to automate workflows, support decision-making, and solve complex business problems.
- Develop AI-driven solutions using Python and relevant AI frameworks, libraries, and technologies.
- Define technical architecture, solution design, integration patterns, and implementation strategies for AI-enabled systems.
- Integrate AI capabilities into full-stack applications, enterprise platforms, and existing business systems.
- Design and implement AI agent workflows, tool integrations, and interactions with enterprise data and services.
- Take AI proof-of-concepts from initial development through production implementation.
- Evaluate business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable AI architecture and implementation plans.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs and backend services to connect AI components with enterprise applications.
- Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to deliver end-to-end AI-powered application capabilities.
- Assess and select appropriate AI technologies, frameworks, models, and architectural patterns based on business requirements.
- Design solutions that address scalability, performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, including Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms, where required.
- Work with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, to support the deployment and operation of AI-enabled applications.




- Provide technical guidance to development teams and ensure adherence to architecture standards and engineering best practices.
- Identify technical risks, evaluate architectural trade-offs, and recommend effective implementation approaches.
- Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Stay updated on emerging AI technologies, agentic AI architectures, and enterprise AI integration patterns.
- Participate in technical reviews, architecture discussions, design reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
- Take ownership of technical delivery and ensure solutions meet functional, non-functional, and business requirements.

Required Skills / Primary Skills

- 8–12 years of professional experience in software development, solution architecture, AI engineering, or related technical roles.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts, technologies, and implementation approaches.
- Practical experience designing and developing AI agents and agent-based applications.
- Strong programming experience in Python and its application in AI-driven software development.
- Experience with architectural design, including solution architecture, system design, integration patterns, and technical decision-making.
- Strong understanding of how to integrate AI capabilities into full-stack applications and enterprise software systems.
- Experience designing scalable, modular, secure, and maintainable software architectures.
- Practical experience taking AI-based proof-of-concepts through to production-ready implementations.
- Experience developing backend services, APIs, and application integrations to support AI-powered solutions.
- Understanding of AI agent workflows, tool calling, orchestration, and integration with external systems.
- Ability to evaluate technical requirements and recommend suitable AI technologies and architectural approaches.
- Understanding of enterprise application development principles, software design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Experience addressing system scalability, performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work across architecture, backend development, and AI integration activities.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive technical decisions and implementation independently.

- Experience working in enterprise technology, engineering software, SaaS products, or large-scale application environments.
- Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and translate them into practical enterprise solutions.
- Experience working with cross-functional and distributed engineering teams is an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain architectural decisions and technical concepts to stakeholders.

Education

- B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, a scientific discipline, or a related engineering field.
