Admin & Finance — Intern | CA (Pursuing/Fresh) | Work from Office
We have been in the enterprise ATS space for 10 years. Some of the best
companies in the country run their hiring on MyNextHire. A growing company runs
on more than sales and product — it runs on clean books, tight processes, and
someone who can be trusted to keep the back office moving without being chased.
As we scale, we need that someone.
This is an internship for a CA — pursuing articleship or freshly qualified —
who wants to see how a real enterprise SaaS company runs behind the scenes:
accounts, compliance, admin, and HR tasks as required — all in one seat. You
won't be boxed into a single ledger, and you won't own any one function
outright; you'll do a bit of everything, which is exactly how you learn how a
business actually works.
What you need to achieve
Keep the day-to-day of finance and administration running cleanly — accounts
in order, records accurate, deadlines met, and confidential things kept
confidential. Success is simple: the people around you stop worrying about the
things you own, because they know you've got them.
How the best people get there
* Treat accuracy as the job, not a nice-to-have — get the numbers, the
filings, and the details right the first time, so nobody has to double-check
your work
* Learn the accounting and the basic legal and compliance terminology behind
what you're doing — so you understandwhy a thing is done, not just how
* Respond promptly, follow through on every task, and never let something
fall through the cracks — this is how trust is built in a back-office role
* Manage several things at once with shifting deadlines — audits, admin,
month-end,
HR tasks as required — often acting as the person who coordinates
and moves things along rather than the one who decides, and keep every one of
them on track
* Handle confidential information the way it deserves — quietly and
professionally — so people know they can hand you anything
What you can count on
* A real seat across finance, compliance, admin, and HR — not one narrow task
repeated for months
* Direct access to founders and senior leaders in a WFO setup, so your
questions get answered the same day
* Exposure to how a 10-year-old enterprise business keeps its books, its
audits, and its compliance clean
* A team that teaches you how the back office of a real company actually
works — the parts an articleship doesn't always show you
What you need to be resourceful around
* You are early in your career — nobody will hand you a playbook; you watch,
ask, try, fail, and learn
* Senior people will be busy — you have to find your way to learn from them
in the gaps
* The work is broad and you're often the medium, not the decision-maker —
some days it's accounts, some days an audit, some days an HR or admin task
you're helping move on someone else's behalf. Your value is in getting it done
cleanly, not in owning it
* Attention to detail isn't optional here — small errors in finance and
compliance become big problems, and you're the one who catches them early
Why this is your next move
* You'll see the whole back office of an enterprise business — accounts,
audit, compliance, admin, HR — instead of one slice of it
* The habits you build now — accuracy, discretion, follow-through — are the
ones that define a robust finance career
* Do this well and you become the person the company trusts with more — which
is where every good finance career starts
