Role Description The Political Consultant will work on-site in Kerala, India in a full-time capacity, supporting political campaigns, advocacy initiatives, and community outreach programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing political landscapes, conducting voter and stakeholder research, and developing strategic plans for campaigns and public initiatives. The role involves crafting messaging for speeches, press releases, and digital content, as well as advising clients on branding, public positioning, and communication strategies.

The Political

Consultant will coordinate with campaign teams, volunteers, and partner organizations, manage timelines and deliverables,



and monitor campaign performance to recommend adjustments. The position also requires attending on-ground events, meeting with community leaders, and maintaining robust relationships with stakeholders while adhering to ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications

- Ability to conduct political, demographic, and voter research; analyze data; and translate findings into actionable strategies.
- Strong skills in political communication, including speechwriting, messaging, and preparation of press releases and policy briefs.
- Experience in campaign planning, strategy development, and on-the-ground execution of political or advocacy initiatives.
- Capacity to build and maintain relationships with community members, stakeholders, media, and partner organizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Malayalam or other regional languages is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
- Strong ethical judgment, understanding of political processes and regulations in India, and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, Sociology, or a related field; relevant experience in political consulting or campaign work is a plus.
