Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a PLM Engineer at VectorMind Labs. The PLM Engineer will manage and optimize Product Lifecycle Management systems, ensuring seamless integration with AI-driven tools and Agile workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring PLM platforms, defining and maintaining product data structures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, and operations) to support end-to-end product development and change management.

The role involves gathering requirements, designing PLM solutions, creating technical documentation, and implementing best practices for version control, traceability, and compliance.



The PLM Engineer will also troubleshoot system issues, coordinate enhancements, and support continuous improvement of PLM processes aligned with enterprise digital transformation goals.

Qualifications

- Strong PLM platform experience (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia, or similar) and hands-on skills in product data management, BOM management, and change control.
- Solid understanding of engineering and product development processes, including requirements management, configuration management, and lifecycle workflows.
- Proficiency in systems integration and automation, ideally with exposure to APIs, scripting, or connecting PLM systems to tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or other enterprise platforms.
- Experience working in Agile environments, with skills in collaboration, iterative delivery, and alignment of PLM practices with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to analyze complex data and processes, define scalable PLM solutions, and produce transparent technical documentation and process maps.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in remote, cross-functional, and multicultural teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications in PLM or Agile practices are a plus.
- Familiarity with AI-driven tools or interest in AI and digital transformation initiatives is highly beneficial.
