Role Description The Owner at MagicLanternStudios is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Hyderabad, responsible for overseeing the agency’s vision, strategy, and overall business performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding creative and marketing initiatives, setting long-term goals, and ensuring alignment between client expectations, brand outcomes, and operational capabilities. The role involves nurturing client relationships, driving new business development, and managing key partnerships across the Indian market.

The Owner will supervise core teams, make critical resource and budget decisions,



and maintain a culture of creativity, collaboration, and ethical practices. This position requires hands-on involvement in major campaigns, high-level problem solving, and continuous improvement of internal processes.

Qualifications

- Experience in marketing, advertising, or creative agencies, including leadership responsibility for strategy, client management, and campaign delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business plans, manage budgets, and drive sustainable growth in a competitive market.
- Strong skills in team leadership, stakeholder communication, conflict resolution, and fostering an inclusive, collaborative work environment.
- Proficiency in digital-first brand building, with an understanding of social media, content marketing, and data-informed decision-making.
- Comfort with in office work in Hyderabad, with the ability to engage directly with clients, partners, and internal teams on a daily basis.
- Prior experience owning, co-founding, or managing a business unit or studio is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
