Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Italian cuisine chef role located in Gurugram. The chef will be responsible for planning and preparing authentic Italian dishes, including pastas, risottos, pizzas, sauces, and desserts, while maintaining consistent taste and presentation standards. Daily tasks include managing kitchen operations, coordinating with other kitchen staff, ensuring timely service, and maintaining food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.

The chef will also assist in menu development, portion control, inventory management, and cost optimization,



while ensuring use of high-quality ingredients. Collaboration with management on special menus, events, and customer feedback will be an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a chef specializing in Italian cuisine, with strong knowledge of traditional recipes, techniques, and ingredients.
- Ability to plan menus, manage food preparation workflows, and coordinate with kitchen staff in a fast-paced setting.
- Sound understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and kitchen hygiene practices, with adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to maintain consistency in quality and presentation.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with kitchen and service teams.
- Formal culinary training or certification in culinary arts is preferred; practical experience in Italian restaurants is highly beneficial.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings, as required by restaurant operations.
- Compensation range of 20–40k, commensurate with skills and experience.
