Position: Senior Software developer

Your future duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Work on ICON Payments implementation, enhancement, and production support initiatives.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of payment processing lifecycle, including payment initiation, validation, enrichment, routing, settlement, acknowledgements and exceptions.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into ICON functional requirements and user stories.
- Configure/support ICON payment workflows, payment types, rules and processing parameters.
- Work with SWIFT / ISO 20022 payment messages and formats such as MT and MX, where applicable.
- Understand payment interfaces between ICON and upstream/downstream systems such as core banking, channels, payment hubs, ERP, sanctions/fraud systems and GL systems.
- Analyze payment failures, rejects, exceptions and reconciliation issues and coordinate with technology teams for resolution.
- Support SIT, UAT and production validation, including test case preparation and defect triage.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Business SMEs, developers, QA and operations teams.
- Support payment migration, integration and transformation initiatives.
- Prepare functional specifications, process flows, mapping documents and operational documentation

core banking, channels, payment hubs, ERP, sanctions/fraud systems and GL systems.
