Role Description The Interior Designer will be responsible for developing interior design concepts, preparing layouts, and translating client requirements into functional, visually appealing spaces. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, selecting finishes and materials, coordinating FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and producing construction drawings in collaboration with the architecture and project management teams. The role involves regular site visits, coordination with contractors and vendors, and ensuring that design intent is maintained during execution.

The Interior

Designer will participate in client meetings, present design proposals, and support project documentation and revisions as needed.



This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Interior Design, with the ability to develop concepts, layouts, and detailed design solutions.
- Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize functionality, circulation, and user experience within residential, commercial, or hospitality spaces.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles to coordinate interior designs with structural, MEP, and overall building design requirements.
- Experience preparing accurate Construction Drawings, including detailed interior layouts, joinery drawings, and material specifications.
- Hands-on experience with FF&E; selection, including furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials that align with design, budget, and durability needs.
- Competence in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and familiarity with 3D visualization tools is an advantage.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced workplace.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Prior experience in an interior design or architecture firm, particularly in turnkey or design-build projects, is beneficial.
