Role Description The Fleet Manager role at Rk Foodland Private Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai.

The Fleet

Manager will oversee daily fleet operations, including vehicle scheduling, routing, and dispatch to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery. This role involves monitoring vehicle performance, maintenance schedules, and fuel usage, as well as coordinating repairs and inspections to minimize downtime.

Manager will track compliance with relevant transportation regulations, maintain accurate records, and analyze operational data to improve efficiency. The position also includes collaborating with drivers and operations staff, resolving issues in real time,



and implementing safety and performance standards across the fleet.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in Fleet Management and Fleet Operations, with the ability to oversee day-to-day vehicle utilization and performance.
- Proficiency in Operations Management, including planning, coordinating, and optimizing logistics and distribution activities.
- Knowledge of DOT Regulations and other relevant transportation and safety standards, with a focus on maintaining compliance and accurate documentation.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret data, monitor KPIs, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
- Solid understanding of vehicle maintenance practices and scheduling to ensure fleet reliability and safety.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with drivers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, manage multiple priorities, and make decisions in a fast-paced workplace.
- Prior experience in logistics, transportation, or consumer services is preferred; a diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is beneficial.
