Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Raipur for a Drone Data Processing Engineer. The role involves processing and managing data from UAV surveys, including LiDAR point clouds, photogrammetry outputs, and geospatial datasets to generate accurate maps, models, and analytics. The engineer will design and maintain data pipelines, perform data cleaning and transformation, and implement workflows for ETL and data warehousing specific to drone-derived datasets.

Daily responsibilities include building and optimizing data models, supporting GIS and digital twin solutions,



collaborating with survey and operations teams to ensure data quality, and preparing visual and analytical reports for engineering and client stakeholders. The role also includes contributing to automation of data processing, validating outputs against project specifications, and supporting continuous improvement of Aerovania’s geospatial and analytics platforms.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Data Engineering and Extract Transform Load (ETL) for building reliable, scalable data pipelines from UAV and geospatial sources.
- Candidates should possess skills in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing to structure, store, and optimize drone-derived datasets for analysis and retrieval.
- Candidates should possess skills in Data Analytics to interpret processed spatial and engineering data, generate insights, and support decision-making for infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency with geospatial tools and formats (e.g., GIS software, point clouds, raster/vector data, coordinate systems) is highly beneficial.
- Experience with programming or scripting languages used in data processing (such as Python, SQL, or similar) and familiarity with automation workflows is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Robust analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Experience with UAV data, LiDAR processing, photogrammetry, or infrastructure
