Role Description The Field Collection Officer role at ZeroHire is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. In this role, the professional will visit customers in person to discuss outstanding dues, verify information, and facilitate timely repayments in accordance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The Field Collection Officer will maintain accurate records of collections activities, update systems with visit outcomes, and prepare basic reports for supervisors and client partners. The role also involves building respectful relationships with customers,



addressing queries, explaining repayment options, and escalating complex cases as needed. Collaboration with internal teams to share updates, resolve account issues, and support continuous improvement in collection processes is an important part of the day-to-day responsibilities.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Debt Collection skills, including field follow-ups, negotiation, and adherence to compliance standards.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to review account status, identify repayment trends, and prioritize visits effectively.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to handle customer interactions professionally and respectfully.
- Candidates should possess clear Communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain repayment terms and document visit outcomes accurately.
- Candidates should possess basic Finance understanding to interpret statements, loan details, and repayment schedules.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in field collections or banking/NBFC roles, familiarity with local Mumbai geography, ability to work independently, and a valid driving license.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required; a graduate degree in commerce, finance, or a related field is preferred.
