Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part-time remote role responsible for organizing, supporting, and engaging volunteers across various initiatives. On a day-to-day basis, this role will schedule and coordinate volunteer activities, maintain volunteer records, and ensure clear communication of expectations and responsibilities. The Coordinator will develop and facilitate basic training for volunteers, provide ongoing guidance, and act as a point of contact for volunteer questions and feedback.

This role will also collaborate with internal teams to identify volunteer needs, support community outreach efforts, and help recognize and retain volunteers through appreciation and engagement activities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training skills to recruit, onboard, and support volunteers effectively.




- Candidates should possess excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills to build relationships, provide explicit guidance, and resolve concerns professionally.
- Candidates should possess experience or interest in Community Outreach to help promote programs and engage potential volunteers.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and maintain accurate records using digital tools.
- Prior experience coordinating volunteers, community programs, or non-profit initiatives is preferred.
- Comfort with basic office software and communication platforms (e.g., email, video conferencing, spreadsheets).
- Relevant education or training in social work, community development, human resources, or a related field is an advantage.
