Role Description The Civil Execution Engineer – Solar Projects is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bhuj, with some flexibility for work-from-home, focused on the execution of civil works for utility-scale solar projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising site development activities such as grading, road construction, drainage, and foundations, ensuring alignment with approved civil engineering designs and project specifications. The role involves coordinating with design teams, contractors, and vendors, monitoring progress against schedules, and maintaining strict quality control standards for all civil works.





The engineer will conduct regular site inspections, prepare technical and progress reports, support stormwater management solutions, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The position also requires proactive problem-solving on site, optimizing construction methods, and supporting continuous improvement in execution practices.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical standards.
- Experience in Site Development, including earthworks, roads, drainage systems, and foundations for large infrastructure or solar projects.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles and practical application in utility-scale project layouts and drainage planning.
- Proven Quality Control skills for civil works, including inspection, testing coordination, documentation, and adherence to QA/QC procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional experience in renewable energy or large infrastructure construction, preferably in solar or wind projects.
- Familiarity with relevant IS codes, construction standards, and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) practices.
- Ability to work on-site in Bhuj in a hybrid mode, manage multiple stakeholders, and communicate effectively in English and local languages.
