Company Description The Brownie Circles (TBC) is a premium bakery that began as an online store in 2021, focused on indulgent brownies, and has grown into a full-fledged bakery-dessert brand based in Bengaluru. The company currently operates six outlets with two more upcoming, and has expanded its presence to Madurai and Tiruchengode. TBC offers over 15 varieties of brownies and specializes in desserts, cake tubs, custom cakes, confectioneries, and French pastries.

In addition to retail operations, TBC also functions as a baking school, providing access to French-style baking techniques for aspiring students in smaller towns and cities. Role Description The Cake Decorator role at The Brownie Circles is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and decorating custom cakes, brownies, and desserts according to brand standards and customer requirements, using a variety of techniques such as piping, fondant work, and artistic presentation.

The Cake

Decorator prepares and finishes baked items, ensures consistent quality and appearance across products, and collaborates with the baking team on menu items, seasonal offerings, and special orders.



The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and hygiene guidelines, and supporting front-of-house teams when needed to present products attractively and answer basic customer queries. This position is suited for individuals who enjoy hands-on creative work in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Cake Decorating and Desserts presentation, with attention to detail and aesthetic quality.
- Practical experience in Bakery operations and Baking, including handling ingredients, tools, and equipment safely.
- Ability to prepare and manage a variety of bakery items such as Brownies, Cookies, and custom cakes consistently.
- Customer Service skills to interact professionally with guests, understand their requirements, and support a positive store experience.
- Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, including weekends and peak festive seasons as required.
- Robust time management, teamwork, and reliability in a high-volume production environment.
- Prior experience as a cake decorator, pastry chef, or baker is preferred; certification or training in baking or pastry arts is an advantage.
