Are you experienced in freight forwarding and passionate about winning new customers and growing business?

Southern Freight & Shipping Services (SFS) is looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join our growing team.

? Location: Chennai / Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu

? Experience: 3–5 years

? Industry: Freight Forwarding & Logistics

? MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

✅ 3–5 years of relevant freight forwarding experience

✅ Strong understanding of import, export, sea freight and air freight

✅ An existing customer network and the ability to generate current business

✅ Proven skills in sales, negotiation and customer relationship management

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and acquire new customers and business opportunities.
- Build relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers and traders.
- Generate leads, conduct customer meetings and convert prospects into active accounts.




- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and follow up on enquiries.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to profitable business growth.
