Role Description The Autocad Designer is a full-time, in office position based at AVS College of Technology in Salem. The role involves preparing and updating detailed architectural and construction drawings using AutoCAD and related design tools.

The Autocad

Designer will work closely with faculty, engineers, and administrative staff to support campus projects, space planning, and facility enhancements. Daily tasks include interpreting design requirements, creating accurate layouts and plans,



coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring that design documentation is precise and aligned with institutional standards. The role may also involve supporting teaching activities by preparing illustrative drawings and technical materials as needed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Drawing and Space Planning.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for effective collaboration with faculty, engineers, and administrative teams.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and building codes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Prior experience in academic, institutional, or construction design environments is an advantage.
