Role Description The Assistant Manager – Finishes will oversee and coordinate finishing works on construction sites, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. This full-time, in office role is based in Hyderabad and involves daily supervision of finishing activities such as flooring, painting, ceiling, joinery, and fixtures. The role includes monitoring contractor performance, conducting regular inspections, identifying defects, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly.

Manager will work closely with project managers, site engineers, and vendors to maintain construction safety standards, manage material usage,



and support progress reporting. The position also requires explicit documentation, effective communication with stakeholders, and proactive resolution of site-related issues to keep the project on schedule.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills and experience in Site Supervision to manage finishing teams and contractors effectively.
- Candidates should possess solid Inspection abilities to assess workmanship, ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, and identify quality issues.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for coordinating with project teams, vendors, and on-site personnel.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Construction Safety practices to maintain safe working conditions and enforce safety protocols.
- Relevant academic background such as a diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
- Experience in finishing works for residential or commercial projects, with familiarity in industry standards and quality benchmarks, is highly beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, prepare basic site reports, and use standard project documentation tools is desirable.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and capability to work under time constraints at quick-paced construction sites are important.
