Role Description The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing periodic reports. The role includes handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements and tax-related documentation. The Accountant will support internal audits, ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, and coordinate with clients or internal stakeholders to clarify financial data when needed.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mysore,



requiring regular collaboration with colleagues and supervisors to meet deadlines and support the firm’s service commitments.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in core accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
- Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, and support tax filings and compliance activities.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools, with attention to accuracy and data integrity.
- Good analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and identify discrepancies.
- Effective communication skills to work with clients and colleagues, and the ability to document and explain financial data clearly.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, meet reporting deadlines, and maintain systematic records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
- High ethical standards, reliability, and willingness to learn and adapt to changes in regulations and accounting practices.
