Roles and Responsibilities :
- Conduct eye exams to diagnose vision problems and prescribe glasses or contact lenses as needed.
- Perform refractions to determine the correct prescription for each patient's eyes.
- Dispense and fit patients with eyeglasses, contact lenses, or other optical devices.
- Maintain accurate records of patient examinations, including test results and treatment plans.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Optometry (OD) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a residency program in ophthalmology or related field.
- 1-5 years of experience working as an optometrist or similar role.
- Robust knowledge of optics, ophthalmology, refraction, and vision science.
