MEP Cost Estimation Engineer (Thane)

Role & responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates for MEP services, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.
Review MEP drawings, BOQs, tender documents, and technical specifications to determine project costs.
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost analysis for materials, labour, and installation works.
Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
Prepare rate analysis, comparative statements, budget estimates, and tender submissions.
Coordinate with design, procurement, project, and contracts teams to validate quantities and costing.
Identify cost-saving prospects while ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards.




Review contractor quotations, variation claims, and revised estimates.
Support budget preparation, cost monitoring, and reconciliation of estimated versus actual costs.

Preferred candidate profile

Solid knowledge of MEP systems and construction cost estimation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel; knowledge of estimation tools is preferred.
Experience in BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, rate analysis, and tendering.
Robust vendor negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills.
Experience in residential high-rise or commercial real estate projects preferred.
